The role

You will take physical products from concept to production at BluLang Works in Guangzhou, next to the factories that make them. You will work on the electronics and mechanics of connected devices and on the prototypes that prove them, with the Studio in Milano on the software side.

What you will do.

Six things you will own from the start, in plain words. The scope grows with you.

  1. 01 Develop electronic and mechanical designs for connected products.
  2. 02 Build and test prototypes, and turn every result into a design decision.
  3. 03 Prepare what factories need: drawings, specifications and bills of materials.
  4. 04 Work with suppliers on components, samples and design for manufacturing.
  5. 05 Work with software engineers in Milano on firmware, apps and agents.
  6. 06 Support production and quality all the way to launch.

What you bring.

You have
  • Experience taking hardware products into production.
  • Hands-on skill with prototyping and test equipment.
  • A working knowledge of design for manufacturing.
  • Clear English.
  • Comfort on a factory floor.

  • Mandarin.
  • Embedded firmware.
  • Product certification processes.
